With the continuous construction and application of urban water management systems, new requirements have been put forward for water management. Based on the strategic development goals of water management enterprises, we integrate cloud computing, big data, GIS geographic information, and IoT technology to achieve real-time perception and metropolitan management of pump stations, water pressure, water quantity, water quality, energy consumption, etc. Through modeling and analysis of water supply data, spatial analysis of pipeline networks, and hydraulic models, we manage the entire production, management, and service process of the water management system in a more refined and dynamic way, and make corresponding processing results to assist decision-making suggestions. We use a more "smart" way to assist water management and operation in order to ensure reliable water supply, reduce production and sales gaps, improve operational control capabilities, and achieve continuous growth of economic and social benefits, providing strong support for the development of urban water management.

The solution for automatic control system of water pump mainly achieves intelligent management of pump station equipment through real-time monitoring, fault diagnosis and automatic processing of pump station equipment operation. Through remote monitoring, the system can timely grasp the operation status of the water pump, changes in water level, and other information. It can monitor the equipment operation status and water level of the pump room in real time, and remind maintenance personnel to handle it in a timely manner. In the event of a malfunction, remote, automatic and other control methods are provided to achieve operations such as starting and stopping the water pump, adjusting the flow rate, and controlling the pressure of the pipeline network. At the same time, remote monitoring and early warning, alarm, etc. can be carried out on the equipment.

Scheme function

1. Install liquid level sensors, flow meters, electrical parameter acquisition modules and other equipment in the pump station, and exchange data with the smart water conservancy monitoring platform through GPRS/4G wireless network for real-time monitoring;

2. Equipment status monitoring, using intelligent control terminals installed on site, real-time collection of equipment operating parameters of each pumping station, including electricity consumption, power, voltage and other parameters, and synchronously transmitting the data to the monitoring center for real-time feedback on Android/iOS mobile apps, computer web pages/software and other ports;

3. The system supports the integration with various types of equipment in the pump room, such as intelligent valves, control cabinets, submersible pumps, drainage pumps, and other software and hardware devices. It enables real-time monitoring and data collection of the pump station site, as well as unified scheduling and management of each pump station to avoid losses caused by malfunctions;

4. Intelligent control, with several control methods including manual control, automatic control, remote control, and centralized control. Through ports such as intelligent control cabinets and smart water monitoring platforms, staff can manage pump rooms in real-time through cloud platforms wherever they are and wherever there is a network;

5. Alarm function: Once the system detects a fault, monitoring parameters exceeding or falling below the set alarm value, abnormal operation of equipment such as water pumps, etc., the system automatically sends an alarm message in the alarm mode set by the staff. Alert by SMS, WeChat official account message, cloud platform message, sound and light, notify relevant personnel to deal with it, and minimize losses;

6. Data management functions include automatic storage of historical data, data report management, historical queries, report exports, printing and downloading, as well as various modes such as timed storage and change storage of data. Accurately store system data changes, trace records from any time period, and facilitate management personnel to understand the operation of the pump station;

7. Equipped with multi account management function, which grants employees different management permissions based on the number and responsibilities of the pump station staff, allowing employees in different positions to have management, editing, operation, read-only and other permissions for pump rooms, equipment, cloud platforms, etc;

8. Support secondary development of the system, supporting multiple communication interfaces such as RS232, RS485, Ethernet, and Modbus ASCII/RTU, DLT645-97/07, Mitsubishi FX 2N/3U PLC, Siemens S7-200smart, and other fieldbus communication protocols.

9. Provide video protocol interface access, combining control with real-time on-site video

Application scope

1. Automatic control of the pump station, through real-time monitoring of the operation status of the water pump and remote control, can reduce the waste of manpower and material resources and improve efficiency.

2. Online monitoring can detect and eliminate equipment failures in a timely manner, and automatically adjust the flow rate and head of the water pump based on the operating status of the equipment.

3. Remote control allows for quick shutdown of the water pump in case of any abnormalities. When the water level reaches the warning value, the water pump is automatically controlled to stop running.

4. Real time data monitoring, the system automatically uploads the data to the monitoring center for analysis and processing. And it can store historical data for querying and analysis.

5. Intelligent warning, which can set alarm events and alarm methods separately, and automatically issue alarms when equipment abnormalities occur.

This smart water management system has been tested and proven to improve work efficiency, reduce operating costs, ensure the normal operation of the water management system, and achieve intelligent management of urban water management.
